Stan Dulong

This man is quite an interesting old sea salt. His name is, as listed above, Stan Dulong and he lives in Glouster MA. He is (among other things) a professional rigger for older ships. He is in his early to mid 80's and lives alone in his home (where I photographed him).

Today I learned that Mr. Dulong (subject of the above photograph) and his wife soon after him, passed away a couple months ago. I feel honored to have been able to meet and capture such an interesting individual. I have nothing but the upmost respect for the elder generations featured in my gallery and feel that in one way or another they have all been integral to the development of my life as a photographer.
